Reducing Blood Testing in Pediatric Patients After Heart Surgery

Abstract: Blood testing rates were safely decreased in postoperative pediatric cardiac patients by changing laboratory ordering practices. In addition, packed RBC transfusion was decreased among the most complex patients.
