Redox polymers containing p‐phenylenediamine groups

Abstract

SUM IM ARY :Oxidation-reduction reactions and some applications of polymers containing p-phenylenediamine skeleton in side branches were studied in aqueous solutions. The polymer was used also for preparation of immobilized enzymes by oxidative coupling reaction. The materials were prepared under biologically tolerable conditions and exhibited fairly high biological activity. ZUSAMMENFASSUNG:Die Oxidations-und Reduktionsreaktionen und wcitere Anwendungen von Polymerisaten, die in den Seitenketten ein p-Phenylendiaminskclett enthalten. wurden in wlDrigem Medium untersucht. Diese Polymerisate wurden auch fur die Herstellung irnmobilisierter Enzyme durch oxidative Kupplung verwendet. Das Material wurde unter biologisch tolerierbaren Bedingungcn hergestellt und wies eine verhaltnismaBig hohe biologische Aktivitiit auf.
