Redirecting tropane alkaloid metabolism reveals pyrrolidine alkaloid diversity in Atropa belladonna

Abstract: Summary Plant‐specialized metabolism is complex, with frequent examples of highly branched biosynthetic pathways, and shared chemical intermediates. As such, many plant‐specialized metabolic networks are poorly characterized.
