REDESCRIÇÃO E OCORRÊNCIA DE Bathynectes longispina STIMPSON, 1871 EM ÁGUAS DO NORDESTE BRASILEIRO (DECAPODA; PORTUNIDAE)

Abstract

RESUMO São apresentadas informações sobre a ocorrência do siri Bathynectes longispina, coletado em expedições realizadas pelo Navio de Pesquisa "Natureza", durante o Programa REVIZEE Score Nordeste, de responsabilidade do CEPENE/IBAMA-MMA. Os espécimes, seis machos e três fêmeas; foram capturados com armadilhas de fundo ao largo dos Estados do Rio Grande do Norte, Pernambuco, Alagoas e Bahia, entre 260 e 465 metros de profundidade. Esta espécie é registrada para Massachusetts, Yucatan, Cuba e Brasil (Espírito Santo). O trabalho apresenta a primeira citação de Bathynectes longispina para águas do Nordeste brasileiro.

Estuarine and marine brachyuran crabs (Crustacea: Decapoda) from Bahia, Brazil: checklist and zoogeographical considerations
