Redefining the connectome: A multi-modal, asymmetric, weighted, and signed description of anatomical connectivity

Abstract: The macroscale connectome is the network of physical, white-matter tracts between brain areas. The connections are generally weighted and their values interpreted as measures of communication efficacy.
