Abstract:Introduction
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common functional gastrointestinal disorder characterized by persistent abdominal pain and variable bowel patterns, impacting individuals' quality of life. Despite its functional nature, recent research has indicated the role of inflammatory processes in IBS development.
