Red Cabin Lights Impair Flight Crew Performance of Color-Dependent Tasks

Abstract: Purpose: Prehospital transport commonly is performed in helicopters lacking partition between the pilot and medical crew cabin spaces. For safety reasons, nighttime cabin lighting in these aircraft must be red.
