Recycling and Upcycling in the Practice of Waste Management of Construction Giants

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of recycling and upcycling technologies on the level of efficiency of large construction companies in the context of waste management practice. The research methodology was based on regression analysis and factorial analysis of variance. Based on the assessment of waste management efficiency in the context of recycling (upcycling), the positive dynamics of the efficiency of its implementation was determined in comparison with traditional waste disposal. The le… Show more

“…Míg a recycling az anyagok újrahasznosítására tesz kísérletet, addgig az upcycling jelenlegi formájukat megtartva készít belőlük valami újat (Wang et al, 2021). A Bolt ebben is az élen jár.…”

“…CDW management has a complex task for which the mentioned strategies and methods must be applied contextually and in combination to create a circular use of materials and support the goal of sustainability. To achieve this, efforts need to be made to develop the entire value chain: firstly, reusing or recycling resources in such a manner that most of the material value is conserved and recovered at the end of the building's life; and secondly, designing components and using various construction methods for reuse [57].…”
