Recurrent Volvulus of the Sigmoid Colon in a Young Patient

Abstract: Summary A case of recurrent volvulus of the sigmoid colon in a young patient has been reported. Attention has been drawn to the relative rarity of this condition and the absolutrarity in young patients. A plea has been made for a uniform terminology in describing volvulus of the sigmoid colon.
