Abstract: Two commonly used immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) utilized in the treatment of metastatic melanoma are nivolumab, a programmed death (PD-1) checkpoint inhibitor, and ipilimumab, a cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen (CTLA-4) checkpoint inhibitor.
