Abstract:Reactive hyperplasia is a phenomenon responsible for exophytic lesions in the oral cavity, and may appear to be suspicious, especially in patients who have a significant history of malignancy. Here, we present a case of reactive hyperplasia mimicking recurrence in a patient who was previously treated for tonsillar carcinoma.
