Abstract: BackgroundThe United States currently faces a public health crisis with regarding to antibiotic‐resistant bacteria, and new urinary tract infection (UTI) diagnostics are needed. Women with recurrent UTI (rUTI) and complicated UTI (cUTI) are at particular risk given their complexity and the paucity of adequate testing modalities.
