Recovery peculiarities and complications in the nasal cavity caused by skull base reconstruction with nasoseptal flap after transnasal removal of chiasmo-sellar mass lesions

Abstract: Today, endoscopic endonasal approach is considered the gold standard in skull base surgery of the chiasmosellar region. Advances in transnasal endoscopic skull base surgery allow conducting more extensive interventions via wider approaches which requires more complicated plastic closure of the skull base defect.
