Records of Pauropoda (Pauropodidae, Brachypauropodidae, Eurypauropodidae) from Indonesia and the Philippines with descriptions of a new genus and 26 new species

Abstract

Peter Coebergh departs Brill as CEOBrill, the international academic publisher, announces today that Peter Coebergh will leave Brill as CEO when his term of office will come to an end after the annual general meeting of shareholders that is currently scheduled for 25 May, 2022.Peter Coebergh (1961) joined Brill in 2015 and held the position of EVP Marketing & Sales before being appointed as CEO in 2018. Prior to joining Brill, Peter held several senior executive positions at Springer Science & Business Media (now Springer Nature), which he joined in 2001.Brill is grateful to Peter Coebergh for successfully leading the company over the past four years. Under his leadership, Brill has further prepared itself for a continued positive development as a leading publisher in the field of humanities.

Pauropoda (Myriapoda) from indigenous high‐country tussock grassland in New Zealand with descriptions of two new genera and eight new species

“…Three species have earlier been described in the genus, two from East Malaysia, Sabah, B. penanorum (Scheller 1994) (in Scheller et al . 1994) and B. prolatus (Scheller 2001) and B. curtipes Scheller from Indonesia, Sulawesi (Scheller 2009). The new species has most in common with the Malaysian B. prolatus but can be distinguished from it by the size of the anterior head setae, distinctly smaller than posterior setae in B. neozelandicus , indistinctly smaller in B. prolatus , by the shape of the process of the collum segment, lengthened narrow, not roundly triangular, and the anal plate, with lateral corners, not evenly rounded.…”

Study on the Pauropoda (Myriapoda) from Tibet, China – Part II: New species and new record of the genus Samarangopus

“…Remarks. Samarangopus canalis was originally described and only known from Sulawesi Island, Indonesia (Scheller 2009). The anal plate, the male genital papillae as well as the protuberances on the body of Chinese specimens are nearly the same with S. canalis which proved the species identity.…”
