“…Clinicians have increasingly focused on the management and reconstruction of "pink aesthetics" in the hard and soft tissues surrounding teeth. The absence of interproximal papillae may cause devastating problems for patients (11). Clinicians in various disciplines have described several techniques for the restoration of missing papillae, but none of provides an excellent treatment outcome and clinical stability (12)(13)(14).…”

“…[20] The patient maintained his natural dentition with a stable occlusion, acceptable masticatory function and pleasant esthetics, hence suggesting that orthodontic forces on healthy periodontium if kept within biologic limits do not cause periodontal breakdown but may enhance periodontal healing by their stimulatory effects on the periodontal ligament cells.…”

“…The predictability of papillary regeneration after combined ortho-perio treatment was evaluated by Cardaropoli et al (2004) in 28 periodontal patients between 29 and 60 Fig. 13.17 (1) This patient complained of an unpleasant sensation of saliva leaking through the large triangular space between the lower incisors that had developed because of the loss of papilla.…”
