Reconstruction of the Ancestral Xenarthran Karyotype

Abstract: Xenarthra is the group of mammals that reunites anteaters, armadillos and sloths. According to the most recent phylogenetic schemes, Xenarthra is considered one of the four main supraordinal eutherian clades.
