Abstract:O texto conhecido como Certamen Homeri et Hesiodi apresenta redação tardia (século II EC), embora, desde os trabalhos de Nietzsche e a publicação de papiros com fragmentos seus, possa ser remontado –pelo menos parcialmente– aos trabalhos do sofista Alcidamante (século IV AEC).
