Abstract: In advanced lung adenocarcinoma patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation, epidermal growth factor receptor-tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKIs) have an excellent and long-lasting therapeutic response; however, virtually all patients eventually develop drug resistance and experience disease progression.
