Abstract: #2057 Purpose: Bone metastases are commonly observed in patients with advanced breast cancer. Tumor cells interact with the bone microenvironment to induce osteoclastogenesis via local bone stromal expression of receptor activator of NF-kB ligand (RANKL), leading to bone destruction and release of growth factors.
