Recent increase in the surface mass balance in central East Antarctica is unprecedented for the last 2000 years

Abstract: The Antarctic Ice Sheet’s reaction on the continuing global warming is crucial to project the future sea level rise. The increasing air temperature causes both accelerating mass loss on the Antarctica’s margins and increased surface mass balance in its interior.
