Abstract: Access to clean drinking water is a basic requirement, and eliminating pollutants from wastewater is important for saving water ecosystems. The porous structure and surface characteristics of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) can function as a perfect scaffold for removing toxic compounds from wastewater.
