Recent advances on bifunctional catalysts for one-pot conversion of furfural to γ-valerolactone

Abstract: γ-Valerolactone (GVL) is one of the most valuable compounds derived from furfural (FAL), which has been industrially produced from agricultural byproducts like corn cobs.
