Recent advances in the diagnosis of some common vestibular disorders

Abstract: The interest in the diagnosis of common vestibular disorders in children and adults is permanently increasing. In this survey, the applications of the main diagnostic methods in this interdisciplinary field are briefly discussed. The diagnostic capacities of the caloric test, video head impulse test, cervical and ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials, videonystagmography, electrococheography, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, etc. are summarized.
