Receding Horizon Cost-Aware Adaptive Sampling for Environmental Monitoring

Abstract: In this paper, environmental monitoring by mobile robots is considered where expensive or time-consuming sampling has to be carried out in order to obtain a metamodel of the phenomenon investigated.
