Abstract:This paper proposes a new approach based on linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) to address the problem of static output-feedback control for positive linear parameter-varying (LPV) discrete-time systems. Unlike most of the LMI-based existing approaches for control of positive systems, that employ change of variables to obtain the gains, and impose a diagonal structure to the Lyapunov or the slack variable matrices to assure the closed-loop positivity of the system, the proposed technique is iterative and deals w… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
