Abstract: Figure 1: Rise from Laying. The rise controller model could be mapped onto skeletons of different levels of complexity to reduce ambiguity and singularity issues. The figure shows the full-body skeleton represented as a basic 9-link stick man rolling over and getting-up from the front.
