Real-time online fingerprint image classification using adaptive hybrid techniques

Abstract: <p class="Abstract">This paper presents three different hybrid classification techniques applied for the first time in real-time online fingerprint classification. Classification of online real time fingerprints is a complex task as it involves adaptation and tuning of classifier parameters for better classification accuracy. To accomplish the optimal adaptation of parameters of functional link artificial neural network (FLANN) for real-time online fingerprint classification, proven and established optim… Show more

“…In a smart home, the security system is a very important part [19]- [24]. Fingerprint recognition is one of the most secure systems because a person's fingerprint is never coordinated with anyone else's [24]- [26]. So, someone's access to the door lock can be limited.…”

“…So, someone's access to the door lock can be limited. This makes fingerprints the new automatic ID for every person [26]- [29]. With this idea, a plan and model of a fingerprint-based door lock framework will be presented in this paper.…”

“…A model of a fingerprint detection system is designed to work mainly on three principles: a stage of acquisition an image, stage of extraction and pattern matching. Stage imaging is the most important part; it involves obtaining an image using the fingerprint of the user interface [18][19][20].…”
