Real-Time Detection Method for Heavy Metal Pollution in Soil of Mining Area

Abstract: <p>Solid wastes and acid wastewater lead to the enrichment of heavy metals in the soil of mining area. Heavy metal pollution causes the decline of soil quality, ecosystem degradation, crop yield reduction, and even threatens human health. For this reason, the real-time detection method for heavy metal pollution in mining area is studied. Taking a mining area as an example, the data of heavy metal content in mining area soil are collected by PLSR model. Based on the collected data, the real-time detection… Show more

“…The analytical hierarchy process uses the principle of fuzzy mathematics to combine quantitative and qualitative methods to conduct hierarchical research on complex problems and is often used to solve multiobjective decision-making problems [ 16 , 17 ]. Yang et al used the analytic hierarchy process and weighted average method to build a model to conduct real-time detection for soil PTE contamination in mining areas [ 18 ]. Yang et al used the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the weight of mixed entropy in the entropy-cloud model to quantify the problem of PTE assessment in agricultural fields [ 19 ].…”

“…Heavy metal pollution of cultivated land not only endangers the ecological safety of cultivated land, resulting in crop yield reduction [4,5], cultivated land biodiversity de-cline [6,7], and other consequences, but also leads to "cadmium rice", "blood lead", and other events, directly posing a serious threat to human life [8][9][10]. Under this pressure, implementing heavy metal contaminated cultivated land remediation cannot wait.…”
