Ready Experimental Translocation of Mycobacterium canettii Yields Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Abstract: Mycobacterium canettii, which has a smooth colony morphology, is the tuberculous organism retaining the most genetic traits from the putative last common ancestor of the rough-morphology Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex.
