Reactive Ag+ Adsorption onto Gold

Abstract: Proposed mechanisms of monolayer silver formation on gold nanoparticle (AuNP) include AuNP-facilitated under-potential reduction and antigalvanic reduction in which the gold reduces Ag+ into metallic atoms Ag(0).
