Reactions of Trialkylalanes with Cyclic Acetals and Orthoformates in CH₂Cl₂ and ClCH₂CH₂Cl as Solvents.

Abstract

Cl as Solvents. -Trialkylalanes (II) react with cyclic acetals in chlorine-containing solvents under mild conditions to furnish products of reductive cleavage [cf.
