Abstract:Naturally occurring anti-gelatine antibodies, detectable in human and in some animal sera by precipitation, showed an equal reactivity with gelatine from different species [2]. Recently we have demonstrated in human sera an anti-gelatine factor reacting in passive hemagglutination, which probably belongs t o the yM-globulin class [9]. I n the present study the cross-reacting properties of the antigelatine factor and its reaction with collagen peptides were investigated and compared with available data [4, 5, 7… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
