Re-examination of β-decay in Hg, Pb and Po Isotopes

Abstract: This study re-examines the effect of nuclear deformation on the model dependent Gamow-Teller (GT) strength distributions of neutron-deficient ($^{178-192}$Hg, $^{185-194}$Pb and $^{196-206}$Po) nuclei.
