RCS Estimation of Singly Curved Dielectric Shell Structure with PMCHWT Method and Experimental Verification

Abstract: In this paper, a numerical algorithm for the electromagnetic scattering analysis of singly curved dielectric structures, which can be applied to a canopy of fighter aircraft, is presented with experimental verification. At first, the Poggio–Miller–Chang–Harrington–Wu–Tsai (PMCHWT) method is used as a MoM-based solution for the electromagnetic scattering of a dielectric material.
