Rationalization of manufacturing of plastic injection moulds by abrasive waterjet

Abstract: Subject reviewThe article deals with a proposal and a theoretical solution for the rationalization of manufacturing of parts of plastic injection moulds by abrasive waterjet cutting. On the basis of experimental tests and by the application of advanced abrasive waterjet technology to the process of manufacturing of plastic injection moulds, it has been found that there is a possibility of considerable time saving, i.e. a marked shortage in time period from product ordering to dispatching. In such a way it is p… Show more

“…It is also important to consider how the crane will be moving, how often it will be used, and how it will be supported. [10] Studied tower crane, type POTAIN E10-14C, was made from plastics according to standardized norms of European model trains NEM (Normen Europäischer Modellbahnen) in reduced scale 1:87. It is shown in Fig.…”

“…Environmental aspects play big role in decision analyses, at which many other aspects are usually necessary to take into account, but the optimization criteria considering the pollution have a great robustness and effect on the final decision very much. [12] New technologies in all fields of industry are developed today that try to be environmentally friendly. However, not just the technology itself, but also the testing conditions, equipment used during the experiments, as well as the waste material processing are set in the way to be favorable to the global environment including logistics.…”
