“…The methanolic extract of Dioscorea bulbifera was added to cell medium with increasing concentrations from (6.25 to 100 µg/ml) and incubated for 72 h. The sulphorhodamine B (SRB) assay was performed to study viability of cells and absorbance was read at a wavelength of 495nm using a Bio Red 96 well plate reader (BioRed-India).
