Abstract:A clinical isolate of Staphylococcus aureus interpreted as resistant to penicillin by the Autobac 1 susceptibility testing method (i.e., light-scattering index of 0.77) was found to be susceptible to penicillin by both the disk diffusion and broth dilution techniques.
