Rate of approximation of bounded variation functions by the Bézier variant of Chlodowsky operators

Abstract: Abstract. In this paper the pointwise approximation of the Bézier variant of Chlodowsky operators for bounded variation functions is studied. By means of the analysis techniques and some results of probability theory, we obtain an estimate formula on this type approximation. Mathematics subject classification (2010): 41A36, 41A25, 41A10.

“…The approximation of function classes with bounded derivatives is a hot topic. Bojanic-Cheng [3] and other scholars [4][5] have done a lot of work in this direction. In recent decades, there has been a lot of work in this area, so we will not carry out it one by one.…”

“…The rate of approximaiton for functions with derivatives of bounded variation is an interesting topic. This is mainly originated from Bojanic-Cheng [7], then many scholars have done a lot of research in this field [8][9]. Since the introduction of the operators based on Polya distribution, the work related to this [3][4][5][6] has not stopped.…”
