Abstract:The hepatobiliary tract is the site of an intriguing group of malignancies occurring in several other organs, extrapulmonary small cell carcinoma. In contrast to its bronchopulmonary counterpart, extrapulmonary small cell carcinomas occur with similar rates in female and male patients.
