Rare Genetic Disorders Affecting the Periodontal Supporting Tissues in Adolescence

Abstract: In adolescents periodontal destruction may be the primary manifestation of an as yet unrecognized rare systemic disease, and it may be up to the periodontist to make the correct tentative diagnosis.
