Abstract:Functional mediastinal paragangliomas (PGs) are rare, catecholamine-secreting tumours. Surgical resection is the preferred treatment, but it can be complicated by catecholamine-related symptoms, involvement of cardiac structures and/or tumour supply from major blood vessels.
