To be applicable for the visual spectrum, surface roughness Rq needs to be in the order of 2 nm or less [5] to have less than 1% scattering. Looking at the mostly applied diamond turnable materials, these values only seem attainable in phosphorus nickel platings and special electrodeposited high purity aluminiums like Alumiplate [6].…”
