Rapidly fatal disseminated acanthamoebiasis in a single lung transplant recipient

Abstract: Acanthamoeba infection is extremely rare in thoracic organ recipients. We report the fifth case of progressive disseminated acanthamoebiasis in a lung transplant recipient.
