Rapid macropinocytic transfer of α-synuclein to lysosomes

Abstract: The nervous system spread of alpha-synuclein fibrils leads to Parkinson′s disease (PD) and other synucleinopathies, yet the mechanisms underlying internalization and cell-to-cell transfer are enigmatic.
