Rapid Fault Diagnosis Method of Elevator System Based on Multiattribute Decision Making

Abstract: Fault tree analysis is often used in elevator fault diagnosis because of its simplicity and reliability. However, the traditional fault tree method has the problems of low efficiency due to ignoring location change of bottom events during troubleshooting. This paper proposes a rapid diagnosis method based on multiattribute decision making to solve the problem. The fault tree of the elevator system is constructed based on expert knowledge and multisource data, and the location-related matrix is constructed acco… Show more

“…D.P. Niu proposed a fault tree for lift systems based on expert knowledge and multi-source data and used TOPSIS Methodology to achieve the optimal sequence of lift vibration faults [7]. Junjie Fang applied the CW-VIKOR method to summarise the types of lift faults, to build a highly relevant lift operation assessment system, and to determine the safety assessment level of lift operation [8].…”

“…Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM) are widely used as a power source in all kinds of machinery and equipment, and, once an abnormality occurs, the equipment stops running if it is light, or the workers who operate the equipment are injured if it is heavy, so the detection of abnormalities in PMSM is crucial. Existing permanent magnet synchronous motor fault diagnosis research focuses on the lack of permanent magnet synchronous motor such as elevator industry research [ 1 , 2 ]. This paper aims to study the multi-current fusion of permanent magnet synchronous motor fault diagnosis method.…”
