Genetic variation among highly endangered Bacopa monnieri (L.) Pennell from Southern India as detected using RAPD analysis

In our recent study, we discussed the genetic stability of B. monnieri plants after micropropagation, regrowth from encapsulated node cuttings and hardening through RAPD fingerprinting approach (Ramesh et al 2011). The present study is the first report describing the low profile RAPD variation among the B. monnieri accessions collected from different South Indian states and micropropagated plants under in vitro conditions.…”
