et al.

Abstract: In this study, a methodology was developed for ranking manufacturing technologies of removable complete dentures (RCDs) according to the results of their full-scale mechanical tests. The actuality of the study is motivated by establishing the advantages and drawbacks of 3D-printed RCDs in contrast with ones manufactured via an analog protocol. The RCDs were fabricated via four technological routes that included various combinations of subtractive technologies (hot polymerization/HP and CAD/CAM milling) and add… Show more

“…In the field of dentistry and industry, a variety of 3D printing techniques have gained popularity, including stereolithography (SLA), selective laser sintering (SLS) and digital light processing (DLP), among others [22][23][24][25]. The selected photopolymer materials, NextDent Denture 3D, NextDent C&B MFH Bleach (NextDent B.V., Soesterberg, The Nederlands), and Graphy TC-80DP (Graphy Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea), are used with DLP technology.…”

“…The next step is to discuss the technology of digital production and optimize the digital process. This comprehensive exploration encompasses topics such as fixed dentures, complete dentures [2], dental software [3], material mechanics [4], and related subjects. In the past, dental restorations were manually crafted by dental technicians [5].…”
