“…For the 11‐year period, the publication rate of organization studies in community psychology was analyzed, and a thorough content analysis was completed to determine the manifestation of organization studies in the literature. The article briefly considers the contribution of the major studies of social exclusion in community research.…”

“…Published material is a rich source from which to learn about patterns of knowledge creation (Jason, Pokorny, Patka, Adams, & Morello, ). Community psychology has a historical tradition of empirical analysis of its published work, which has served as a powerful vehicle through which to expose the theoretical, practical, and axiological tensions in the field.…”

“…Examining journal publications represents another method for determining who is publishing, what topics are most central to the field, and where major contributors are located. Citation analysis and article publication rates have been used to identify influential theories, programs, and scholars within Community Psychology (Jason et al, 2007; Neal et al, 2013; Perlman, 1984; Pokorny et al, 2009). For example, insights into the authors of research articles in Community Psychology reveal that most published and cited authors continue to be men from the United States (Fowler & Toro, 2008; Perlman, 1984; Pokorny et al, 2009).…”
