Randomized controlled trial of laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal hernioplasty vs Shouldice repair

Abstract: The TAPP hernia repair yields comparable or better results than Shouldice herniorrhaphy in terms of postoperative pain, recovery, and recurrence rate.
