Randomized clinical trial of the effects on anal function of Milligan–MorganversusFerguson haemorrhoidectomy

Abstract: Closed Ferguson haemorrhoidectomy was superior to the open Milligan-Morgan procedure with respect to long-term anal continence and patient satisfaction.
